Softball=LIFE

I just got back from my sisters softball "kick off the season" jamboree. I've been going to baseball games since before I was one year old. Now i go to softball games. I have probably been to over 300 softball games in my life. There was one year when i tried to join in on the festivities, but no, softball was definitely not my thing, it's my sisters thing. I was about 8 or 9, and there wasn't a full team for girls my age so they bumped me up to play with 6th graders. It was horrible. I hated playing. I would ask to sit out. Every time I was next up to bat, I almost threw up. I struck out every time, even though all of the pitches were over my head. The pitcher couldn't adjust and pitch to me cause I was so much shorter than everyone else. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I quit thinking I could get away from the sport, but no my sisters kept playing, and became this awesome pitcher. Shes been playing since she was 9, and now shes 18. Anyways more then half my life has been dedicated to softball games. If you're in my family softball=LIFE.
